Winners Announced at People's Choice Country Awards – Beyoncé Goes Home Empty-Handed

The 2024 People's Choice Country Awards winners have been revealed, and despite receiving 12 nominations for her country album Cowboy Carter, Beyoncé left without any awards.

One of the night's highlights was Shaboozey winning the "New Artist of 2024" award. In his acceptance speech, he gave a special shout-out to Beyoncé, with whom he collaborated on the 2023 tracks “Spaghetti” and “Sweet Honey Buckiin.”

"First off, thank you to People's Choice, the fans, and listeners for this award. I'm so honored and extremely humbled," Shaboozey said. "I never would have thought in a million years that I'd be up here at the Grand Ole Opry accepting something like this—it's a dream come true. Thank you, Beyoncé, you’re amazing."

Meanwhile, Morgan Wallen emerged as the night's biggest winner, taking home four trophies, including "Song of 2024" for his collaboration with Post Malone on “I Had Some Help.”

Luke Combs secured three awards, including "Album of 2024" for Fathers & Sons. Machine Gun Kelly also claimed two prizes for his cover of Zach Bryan's “Sun to Me” and the crossover hit “Lonely Road” featuring Jelly Roll.

Special honors were given to Miranda Lambert (Country Icon Award) and Kane Brown (Country Champion Award), with Shania Twain hosting the event.
