Houston-born and LA-based, Carley has been immersed in the performing arts since she her childhood. Inspired by N’SYNC and Janet Jackson, Carley crafts music that fuses upbeat melodies with powerful 808s. Her fresh take on R&B both honors the genre's legends and carves out her own unique sound.

From a young age, her life has been filled with artistic pursuits. Her journey began with dancing at the age of three, followed by years of musical theatre, church choir, and improv comedy.

"I like to say I came out the womb entertaining," she reflects, emphasizing that her path was not a sudden revelation but more a natural extension of who she was.

That foundation paved the way for her move to Los Angeles after her freshman year at Baylor University, driven by a dream to make music her profession. The transition was far from easy; it was a period filled with challenges, including navigating long-distance with her now-husband.

Despite these challenges, Carley kept pushing forward. Meeting producer Billy Wonka was a big turning point, leading to the release of 17 independent songs under her artist name, CARLEY. She describes her current work as a mix of independent artistry and content creation, focused on inspiring and uplifting others through her music and presence.

Carley’s view of success is deeply personal: “Success to me is fulfillment. It’s not about the accomplishments or some destination. It’s about that feeling when your head hits the pillow at the end of a long day… Are you peaceful? Are you doing something you love?”

“If I can lift others up by being a light through my music, my words, or even my presence," Carley says of her mission, "that’s what I will do.”
