Fortnite Kicks Off New Season Featuring Snoop Dogg, Ice Spice, Eminem, and Juice WRLD
Fortnite is once again raising the bar, bringing in hip-hop legends to transform its virtual world into a massive music festival. It all began with a surprise performance by Snoop Dogg and Ice Spice in Times Square on November 1, live-streamed in Fortnite to millions of players. This concert marked the start of Fortnite Festival Season 6, where each artist leaves their unique mark in the game.
Snoop Dogg Takes Center Stage
The festival kicks off on November 2 with Snoop Dogg as the Season 6 icon, bringing his style and energy to Fortnite. Snoop’s presence is felt throughout the game with the Music Pass, which includes exclusive themed outfits like the LBC ’93 Dogg and unique instruments, such as the Masterpiece Mic, the G-Funk ‘93 Guitar, and the Top Dogg Drum Kit. Players can level up the Music Pass through any experience in Fortnite, not limited to festival activities.
Snoop shared his excitement, saying, “Being part of Fortnite is all about creating, playing, and sharing my music and culture with the next generation. My son Cordell’s a big Fortnite player with me, so when we had the opportunity, we jumped on it as a new way to connect with my sound and style. Anyone can be Snoop in Fortnite.”
In addition, the Premium track features Snoop’s hit song “Young, Wild & Free,” recorded with Wiz Khalifa and Bruno Mars, along with other popular songs like Soulja Boy’s “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” and Big Sean’s “Bounce Back.” Snoop’s gear will be available in the Fortnite Shop throughout the season, where fans can purchase the complete Snoop Dogg Bundle, featuring a unique outfit that even transforms his head into a dog, plus items like the Axizzle and Lowrider Bike Glider.
Ice Spice Joins as the “Princess of New York”
On November 14, Ice Spice will enter Fortnite, bringing her unique New York City style and energy to the game. Part of Chapter 2 Remix, her character will feature a special location and a new way to experience her persona in Fortnite.
“It’s exciting to be a part of something so iconic, and I can’t wait for players to experience this new vibe,” Ice Spice said.
Eminem Returns, and Juice WRLD Tribute
On November 7, Eminem will join the festival, returning after his first appearance in Fortnite last year with new gear and costumes. Iconic tracks, such as “Lose Yourself,” are expected to be part of the music rewards.
Eminem expressed his excitement: “Guess who’s back, ready for combat, man! I’m serving all new gear along with a side of spaghetti… come and get it! Feels good to return to Fortnite for more mayhem.”
On November 21, a special day will be dedicated to late Juice WRLD, celebrating his music and style. Fans can unlock the Slayer Juice WRLD outfit and other legacy-themed rewards. Juice WRLD, a longtime Fortnite fan, saw gaming as a way to connect with friends and family, and his mother, Carmela Wallace, noted, “Gaming was always part of his life, and Fortnite now stands as an incredible tribute to his love for games and the connections his music still brings to people.”
What’s New This Season?
Season 6 has brought several exciting new features to enhance the festival experience:
Beat Synced Emotes – Emotes now sync with the rhythm of the tracks, making each move part of the music.
